He died, aged 72 years, of heart failure while staying at Grampian Hills Hydro, Scotland and is buried at Moyallon Friends Burying Ground beside his nephew and brother-in-law David Sinton of Markethill. His son Theodore was on his way to bring him home but he did not arrive in time to see him before his death. (DMS)
